Temu Taxi

Thank you for your interest in the Temu Taxi website and mobile applications.

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Temu Taxi website, mobile applications, and related services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Temu Taxi platform.

1. General Provisions

1.1. These Terms & Conditions apply to any individual or entity using any feature, function, or service available through the Temu Taxi website or mobile applications.

1.2. By registering for an account, accessing, or using the Temu Taxi platform, the User confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

1.3. The Administrator reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

1.4. The latest version of these Terms & Conditions will be published on the Temu Taxi website and/or mobile applications. Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1.5. For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply unless the context requires otherwise:

Administrator / Company
Maycom for Digital Technology, a registered company in the Arab Republic of Egypt, operating and managing the Temu Taxi platform.

Portal / Website
The official Temu Taxi website:

Mobile App / Applications
The Temu Taxi applications for passengers and drivers available on supported operating systems and devices.

User
Any legally capable individual who is at least 18 years old, or any duly authorized legal entity, that uses the Temu Taxi website, apps, or services.

Service
Any functionality or service made available through the Temu Taxi platform, including ride booking, trip management, driver communication, support, and related digital services.

Personal Data
Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

1.6. Additional conditions may apply to certain features or services and will be made available where relevant.

2. User Registration

2.1. Access to certain Temu Taxi services may require registration and the creation of a personal account.

2.2. The User must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and while using the platform.

2.3. If false, misleading, or incomplete information is provided, the Administrator may suspend, restrict, or terminate the User’s account without prior notice.

2.4. The Administrator may immediately block or remove a User account if the User’s actions may violate applicable law, infringe the rights of others, harm the platform, or expose the Administrator to legal or reputational risk.

2.5. The Administrator will take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data provided during registration and use of the platform, in accordance with applicable law.

2.6. By registering, the User consents to the collection, use, and processing of personal data in accordance with the Temu Taxi Privacy Policy.

2.7. The Administrator may delete inactive accounts after a prolonged period of non-use.

2.8. The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and account credentials.

2.9. If a User becomes aware of unauthorized access to their account, they must notify the Administrator immediately.

2.10. The Administrator shall not be liable for losses resulting from the User’s failure to maintain the security of their login credentials.

3. Use of the Platform Without Registration

3.1. Certain parts of the Temu Taxi website or services may be available without registration.

3.2. Whether registered or not, any User accessing the platform agrees to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

3.3. The Administrator may restrict access to certain services unless the User completes registration or accepts additional requirements.

3.4. The Administrator may block access to any User without notice if their actions may violate applicable law, platform rules, or the rights of others.

3.5. The Administrator will take reasonable measures to protect personal data submitted by non-registered users in accordance with applicable law.

4. Personal Data

4.1. All matters relating to the collection, use, storage, processing, and protection of personal data are governed by the Temu Taxi Privacy Policy, available on the website and mobile applications.

5. Services Provided Through the Platform

5.1. Temu Taxi is a digital platform designed to connect Users with transportation service providers and facilitate ride booking and related services.

5.2. Temu Taxi may display, publish, or provide access to information, digital content, and third-party services lawfully made available through the platform.

5.3. If a User identifies content or materials on the platform that may infringe rights or violate the law, the User should notify the Administrator and provide relevant details.

5.4. The Administrator may work with drivers, transportation partners, payment providers, insurance providers, and other third parties to facilitate services on the platform.

5.5. Transportation services requested through Temu Taxi are provided by independent Partners. Temu Taxi acts as a platform operator and facilitator unless explicitly stated otherwise.

5.6. The Administrator is not a party to the transportation contract formed directly between the User and the Partner, unless expressly stated under applicable law or by specific service terms.

5.7. While the Administrator aims to provide a reliable platform experience, it does not guarantee the quality, availability, legality, timing, or performance of services provided by independent third parties.

5.8. Any optional insurance, promotional benefit, or support feature made available through the platform shall be subject to separate conditions where applicable.

6. Rules and Restrictions on Use

6.1. Users may only use the platform for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

6.2. Users must not upload, transmit, or distribute any content or material that is:

unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading
defamatory, abusive, threatening, or offensive
discriminatory or hateful
infringing on intellectual property or privacy rights
obscene, sexual, or pornographic
designed to distribute malware, spam, or unauthorized advertising
intended to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts

6.3. Users are solely responsible for any content they submit through the platform and must ensure that they have all necessary rights and permissions to submit such content.

6.4. Users must not use the platform in any way that may interfere with its normal operation or compromise its security.

6.5. Users must not use the platform in violation of any applicable laws or regulations in the country where they access or use the service.

6.6. Unauthorized commercial use, advertising, or promotional activity on the platform is prohibited unless approved in writing by the Administrator.

6.7. Any materials downloaded or obtained through the platform are used at the User’s own risk.

6.8. The Administrator may remove content, restrict access, or take other appropriate action if a User violates these Terms & Conditions.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1. The website, mobile applications, software, source code, design, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and all other intellectual property relating to Temu Taxi are owned by or licensed to the Administrator.

7.2. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions grants the User any ownership rights or license to use Temu Taxi intellectual property except as strictly necessary for personal, lawful use of the platform.

7.3. The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free performance, or suitability for any particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Administrator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of, or inability to use, the platform or services.

8.2. The Administrator is not responsible for losses, damages, delays, failures, misconduct, or unlawful acts caused by third-party Partners, drivers, service providers, payment providers, or other third parties.

8.3. The Administrator does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform, which may be affected by maintenance, system failures, force majeure, internet outages, or other circumstances beyond its control.

8.4. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.

9. Final Provisions

9.1. These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the User and the Administrator regarding use of the Temu Taxi platform.

9.2. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

9.3. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Arab Republic of Egypt, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

9.4. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted as creating any agency, employment, partnership, or joint venture relationship between the User and the Administrator.

9.5. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

9.6. Failure by the Administrator to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights.

9.7. The User confirms that they have also reviewed and accepted the Temu Taxi Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy, and any other applicable policies published on the platform.
